We had a fantastic experience with Shumaker Roofing from start to finish. Sean was our representative and he was honest and thorough. Throughout the sales process, we never felt any pressure and it was clear Sean had our best interests in mind. The plan for our new roof had comprehensive protection against water intrusion, used top quality materials, and still managed to price well below what we were expecting (we reviewed local and national averages per square foot). Shumaker tarped our roof to ensure it was protected from bad weather while they fit us into a busy schedule. They completed the work efficiently and on time. During the build out, the crew was incredibly thoughtful. When we entered or left the house, they would pause work to protect us from debris. When the job was completed, they cleaned up thoroughly. All debris was removed and they made multiple passes with magnetic sweepers to capture any nails. As for the roof itself, it looks fantastic and it's clear they care a great deal about workmanship. My experience started out pleasant. I was working with Bethany who was knowledgeable and professional. She spent a lot of time working with my insurance to get my roof replacement covered. I was denied. Sometime after that, there must have been a staffing conflict as she no longer works for the company. Sadly, nobody from Shumaker picked up where she left off. They never contacted me to continue working with me. I have since gone with another company, who got my roof covered through insurance with just one additional submission. I guess Shumaker Roofing didn't want my business.

Josiah was a terrific rep for this company. He was polite, respectful, and professional. Our new roof install, from start to finish, was quick, easy, and thorough. Clean up was amazing. I would definitely work with him and the team again!

They did a great job on my roof. Even with the miscommunication at the end. You should really check out this company if you're reading my review. They really are good people. They were the second contractor who came in when the other one deemed it to difficult with the insurance company. My guys worked with me and we got it through the insurance company and we had to use what felt like every means that is legally possible. For that I am forever grateful and you get five stars. I will always recommend you guys. At the end of the work communication kind of stalled and then flat out pretty much stopped. Certain promises were made but they weren't included in the contract. I get it sometimes we get caught up in the heat of things and make promises that we can't fulfill. So I was a little disappointed when I inquired about a certain charge being covered since when I inquired about possible price going in to be ready with final payment as I was then informed oh I'm going to cover that. So when it showed up. I inquired about it through text and email and included in both if promises were made but not included in the contract and I understand certain things can't be covered. Let me know hey that shouldn't never have been promised I'd really all I wanted to hear. Which is why I'm making the final payment as we speak for the full amount. But maybe work a little bit better with communication at the end. But all in all you guys were great. You kept your word about sticking through. And you helped navigate the insurance nightmare when they don't want to cover.

Shumaker Roofing Co the best decision my wife and I could have ever made for our home their sales rep Michele Riggs in my opinion is the MVP of this company. She presented us a sales pitch to get our roof replaced through our insurance and working with her at a reasonable price, at first it seemed kind of shaky, but my wife and I decided to work with her. The only thing she asked was for us to be patient and let the process run its course. Of course I had questions and Michelle answered them to the best of her knowledge, she was always there if we needed her, no questions asked and in 3 months Michele and her company Shumaker Roofing was on our property removing the old roof and replacing it with a brand new shingle roof and gutters for a reasonable price. So if you're thinking of replacing your roof give Shumaker Roofing Co a call and ask for Michele Riggs she'll do you right .
